Cyber-défense : Google pourrait collaborer avec la NSA
A la suite des attaques subies fin 2009 par Google, la plus puissante agence fédérale de renseignements aux Etats-Unis pourrait aider le groupe Internet à blinder son infrastructure.
La vaste cyber-attaque subie par les infrastructures de Google depuis la Chine intéresse aussi les services secrets américains comme la NSA.
Selon le Washington Post, le groupe Internet pourrait entamer une collaboration avec la plus puissante agence fédérale de renseignements aux Etats-Unis afin d’analyser le vaste assaut informatique observé fin 2009.
Au nom de la cyber-sécurité, la National Security Agency pourrait aider Google à défendre son réseau mais aussi à prévenir ses utilisateurs de futurs assauts via Internet.
Les parties concernés ont refusé d’apporter des commentaires sur ces informations.
Néanmoins, selon les sources du Washington Post, cette collaboration inédite a un but unique de cyber-défense. Elle ne devrait pas empiéter sur la vie privée. La NSA n’aurait pas accès aux comptes Gmail par exemple.
Selon des spécialistes de la sécurité IT, les intrusions informatiques obervées fin 2009 ont ciblé le code source de Google et se sont propagées à une trentaine de firmes d’horizons divers (défense, énergie, finance, médias…).
Les comptes Gmail de défenseurs de droits de l’homme localisés en Europe, en Chine et aux Etats-Unis avaient été affectés.

c’est quand même hallucinant cette multiplication des articles présentant la NSA comme le sauveur de Google.
Comme de nombreux Etats, Les USA ont effet demandé à de grosses boites informatiques une backdoor pour voir ce qui se passe.
La NSA sait donc très bien ce qui c’est passé dans l’affaire Google China.
