Facebook essaie d’écarter la publicité indésirable
Facebook doit faire la chasse aux applications tierces « déviantes », qui font du business avec les photos de ses membres. La plate-forme appelle à la vigilance.
Facebook doit faire la police sur son réseau s’il veut rester crédible. La plate-forme communautaire veut endiguer une fausse rumeur relative à l’ouverture de la publicité.
Des messages émanant d’applications tierces assurent que « FACEBOOK autorise désormais des réseaux publicitaires externes à utiliser les photos que vous publiez, ce SANS votre permission. » Une affirmation susceptible de nuire à ses activités.
Du coup, Barry Schnitt, en charge de la communication portant sur les règles de Facebook, lance une offensive pour faire taire les rumeurs. Il réitère la position de Facebook : il est interdit d’exploiter les photos des membres dans un but commercial sans leur consentement.
Ce message d’avertissement vise en particulier les développeurs d’applications externes qui seraient tentés de puiser dans le fonds d’images disponibles sur Facebook. Avec 250 millions de membres au dernier pointage, le choix est large.

Divers outils de signalement des abus
La plate-forme communautaire a mis en place plusieurs systèmes d’alarme pour éviter ce genre de désagrément. Pour les dérives portant sur les applications externes, les membres sont invités à cliquer sur le lien « Signaler un abus » pour faire remonter l’information à l’équipe de Facebook.
Celle-ci effectue de son côté son propre monitoring pour chasser les publicités trompeuses ou non-respectueuses des politiques Facebook.
En cas de désagrément liée à une publicité publiée directement par Facebook, le membre peut cliquer sur l’icône « pouce baissé » qui apparaît en dessous de l’image.
Néanmoins, Facebook ne s’interdit pas d’exploiter le filon de la « publicité sociale » : il permet ainsi aux amis d’un utilisateur de découvrir les liens que celui-ci entretient directement avec un produit ou un service poussé par des annonceurs.
Mais la condition préalable est que l’utilisateur ait donné son accord formel pour accepter ce type de publicité à la sauce communautaire. Ainsi, en devenant « fan » d’une page faisant la promotion d’un produit commercial, un membre accepte alors que sa photo puisse être accolée à une publicité.

Mouais c’est ce qui pourrait faire tomber Facebook.
Pourquoi d’ailleurs facebook autorise ces fenêtres publicitaires intempestueuses !!! c’était couru d’avance qu’a court terme elles allaient susciter des problèmes justement ceux sur qui nous débattons ici !!!!! Combien cela rapporte t’ il à facebook ?
