Gmail hiérarchise les e-mails en fonction de leur importance
La nouvelle fonctionnalité Priority Inbox intégrée au sein de Gmail pour les professionnels est capable de trier automatiquement les e-mails entrants en mettant en avant les courriels importants.
Google Enterprise cherche à faciliter la gestion des e-mails pour les professionnels. A cet effet, la firme de Mountain View vient de lancer en version bêta sa nouvelle fonctionnalité baptisée Priority Inbox au sein de sa messagerie Gmail.
Elle offre la possibilité d’effectuer un tri automatique des e-mails reçus en fonction de leur importance.
Intégrée dans la boîte de réception de Gmail, cet outil se permet de signaler en temps réel l’arrivée de messages importants via une hiérarchisation automatiques des e-mails entrants.
Pour ce faire, Priority Inbox divise en trois parties distinctes la boîte de réception du client de messagerie Google : « Importants non lus », « Marqués d’une étoile » et « Tout le reste ». Les messages reçus sont alors forcément classés dans une de ces catégories.
Pour détecter l’importance des courriels entrants, Gmail s’appuie sur les noms des destinataires les plus récurrents, les types de messages les plus fréquemment ouverts et auxquels l’internaute répond le plus souvent.
Bien sûr, plus Gmail est sollicité par l’internaute, plus le classement des messages reçus s’affine et devient pertinent.
Selon Google Enteprise, l’outil Priority Inbox a surtout pour principal objectif de rentabiliser le temps de travail du collaborateur en lui offrant une vision globale plus pertinente et davantage personnalisée de son webmail Gmail.
La firme de Mountain View a précisé que cette fonctionnalité serait progressivement déployée dans le courant de la semaine au sein de Gmail pour les professionnels utilisant les Google Apps.
