Google planche sur son langage de programmation Go
Google lève en partie le voile sur son projet Go, un nouveau langage de programmation open source, combinant le meilleur des langages C++ et Python. Avis aux développeurs intéressés !
Google continue son incursion dans le monde de l’open source. Après avoir travaillé sur Simple, une déclinaison du langage Basic, afin de permettre aux développeurs de mettre au point des applications pour sa plate-forme mobile Android, la firme de Mountain View travaille actuellement à l’élaboration d’un autre langage de programmation open source baptisé Go.
Entièrement mis au point par Google, Go s’appuie sur le langage de programmation C++, pour ses atouts en matière de sécurité et de performances, et sur le langage dynamique Python. Go dispense ainsi du code compact et simple, capable de s’exécuter rapidement et de compiler de gros fichiers sur un seul ordinateur. Un nouveau moyen donc de créer facilement et sans délai tout un panel de nouveaux programmes.
Selon Google, son nouveau langage de programmation Go, développé déjà depuis deux ans, n’en est encore qu’à ses balbutiements et reste encore un projet perfectible. Mais étant open source, le géant de l’Internet appelle les développeurs à se pencher dessus et à l’améliorer, en mettant notamment tout un panel de documents à leur disposition.
