Haut débit : Free affiche 125 000 recrutements nets
Le groupe Iliad-Free livre ses résultats « en forte hausse » du premier semestre 2010. Mais la bataille du haut débit devient de plus en plus difficile.
Pour la première fois, le groupe Iliad-Free a réalisé un chiffre d’affaires semestriel supérieur à un milliard d’euros (1015 millions d’euros).
Le groupe télécoms-Internet affiche une hausse de 27% de son Ebitda consolidé (392 millions d’euros) avec un résultat net qui a doublé par rapport à la même période l’an dernier (171,4 millions d’euros).
Selon les premiers éléments fournis dans sa communication financière, Iliad-Free évoque un « redressement financier rapide » du service d’accès Alice avec des « synergies déployées au cours de l’année 2009″ (coûts de réseau, système d’information, frais de structure…) et ce, malgré « l’érosion de la base abonnés ».
Mais la principale force groupe reste son offre phare triple play Free avec laquelle le FAI a recruté 125 000 abonnés nets de résiliations au cours du premier semestre 2010. Iliad-Free doit rester vigilant face au dynamisme d’autres challengers d’Orange comme SFR et Bouygues Telecom.
Le groupe FAI ambitionne toujours d’afficher environ 5 millions d’abonnés haut débit d’ici 2011. Il n’oublie pas l’autre grand chantier de la fibre optique.
En termes de déploiement du très haut débit, Iliad-Free compte couvrir horizontalement « l’essentiel de Paris » d’ici un an (avec 4 millions de foyers raccordables à fin 2012). Parallèlement, le projet Free Mobile devra aussi avancer : selon la feuille de route de l’ARCEP, le service de téléphonie mobile estampillé Free doit couvrir 27% de la population française d’ici janvier 2012. Les premières offres commerciales émergeront à la même échéance.

Etant sur bergerac maintenant, je vois que Free est toujours moins cher par rapport à Orange pourtant bien implanté et surtout avec des offres de services que n’offre pas Orange.
