HP se Fortify dans la sécurité
HP a annoncé le rachat de l’éditeur de solutions de sécurité professionnelles Fortify. Il pourra ainsi proposer une offre complète permettant la sécurisation du code logiciel et la mise en conformité des applications avec la réglementation.
Encore ébranlé par le départ de son P-DG Mark Hurd en début de semaine dernière, HP vient d’annoncer avoir signé un accord en vue de racheter l’éditeur de logiciels de sécurité Fortify. Le montant de cette transaction n’a pas été dévoilé.
Basé à San Mateo en Californie, Fotify a été l’une des sociétés pionnières en matière de vulnérabilités applicatives (ou SVM-Security and Vulnerability Management).
L’éditeur américain propose ainsi aux entreprises ses solutions dans le domaine de la sécurisation du code logiciel ainsi que de la mise en conformité des applications professionnelles avec la réglementation.
HP et Fortify se connaissent bien puisque les deux sociétés ont collaboré sur une technologie d’analyse de sécurité avancée nommée « Hybrid 2.0″ lancée en février dernier.
Ce achat permettra à HP de « compléter son offre de systèmes aidant les organisations à réduire leurs risques, à répondre aux obligations réglementaires et à se protéger contre les attaques » contre leurs systèmes.
Une fois la transaction finalisée, HP laissera Fortify fonctionner de manière indépendante, puis le géant américain intégrera progressivement l’éditeur de sécurité à sa division de logiciels et de systèmes professionnels.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
