La bêta 2 de la messagerie Thunderbird 3 est disponible
La dernière mouture de l’outil de messagerie libre de Mozilla se dote d’une fonction d’archivage des messages et d’un gestionnaire d’activités.
Après une version bêta sortie en décembre dernier, la Fondation Mozilla, à travers son entité Mozilla Messaging, annonce l’arrivée de la deuxième version bêta de Thunderbird 3, son logiciel libre de messagerie. Disponible en 43 langues et pour les OS Windows, Mac OS X et Linux, cette nouvelle mouture corrige 340 bugs et intègre deux nouvelles fonctionnalités.
La première concerne l’archivage des messages reçus sur sa boîte de réception ou conservés dans des dossiers spécifiques. En un simple clic, il est possible d’envoyer un e-mail directement dans un dossier d’archivage.
La bêta 2 de Thunderbird 3 intègre également un gestionnaire d’activités. Cette fonction permet d’enregistrer automatiquement toutes les activités lors de l’envoi et de la réception des messages entre le serveur de messagerie et Thunderbird. Petit plus : Mozilla Messaging promet un chargement plus rapide des e-mails à partir des serveurs IMAP.
En revanche, l’agenda Lightning ne sera pas intégré à Thunderbird, comme cela était initialement prévu. Ce projet n’a pas réussi à réunir un assez grand nombre de développeurs. Cette fonction ne sera disponible que sous la forme d’un module à part.
Une troisième version bêta de Thunderbird 3 est encore attendue. Une Release Candidate devrait ensuite suivre, avant la sortie de la version finale prévue avant cet été.

Depuis que VNUNet n’est plus au profit d’un vague site au nom digne des plus grands sites de séries B, même le spam s’invite dans les commentaires :-D !! Z’êtes vraiment trop fort pour des « spécialistes » des nouvelles technologies..
C’est bien d’utiliser des outils open source, gratoches ou je ne sais quoi de pas cher (je parle du moteur de contenu du site et donc de la gestion des commentaires) et de les « vendre » au client pour un fric fou, mais c’est encore mieux de savoir les mettre en œuvre, hein, les p’tits amis « développeurs » ;-) … Même le plus basique des WordPress, des Dotclear ou des Joomla a un antispam, ‘faut juste penser à l’activer…….
