La RC2 de Firefox 3.5 fait son apparition
La RC2 de Firefox 3.5 débarque avant l’arrivée de la version finale, avant fin juillet. Celle-ci promet d’être plus stable et plus rapide, avec l’ajout de nouvelles fonctions.
Seulement une semaine après la sortie de la RC1, Mozilla propose la Release Candidate 2 de Firefox 3.5, accessible à tous les internautes, alors que la première mouture était d’abord destinée aux développeurs. Cette RC2 est donc la dernière ligne droite avant le lancement, avant la fin juillet, de la version finale.
Les internautes pourront ainsi tester en avant-première le mode amélioré de navigation privée du navigateur. Lorsque cette option est activée, aucune trace des sites visités n’est enregistrée sur l’ordinateur. Et aucun mot de passe n’est sauvegardé durant la session de navigation. Firefox 3.5 améliore également les performances et la rapidité du moteur JavaScript TraceMonkey.
Le navigateur de Mozilla ajoute par ailleurs la gestion des éléments HTML5 audio et vidéo et supporte les améliorations apportées au moteur de rendu Gecko. Sans oublier l’intégration d’un nouveau module de géolocalisation. Firefox 3.5 est ainsi capable d’affiner les informations livrées à l’internaute en fonction de l’endroit où celui-ci se trouve.
La version RC2 de Firefox 3.5 est disponible en téléchargement dans plus de 70 langues pour Windows, Mac OS X, Linux.

J’ai mis a jour firefox a la sortie de la RC2 le 22 Juin mais je n’ai pas de naviguation privée. Erreur de ma part?
Sinon firefox est tres rapide et parfait comme d’habitude.
@ Mikolajczak: sur mac, pour activer la navigation privée, il faut aller dans Outil – commencer la navigation privée.
Avec windows ça doit etre pareil ;-)
