En difficultés financières depuis quelques mois, le groupe médias on line Hi-Media songerait à se séparer de sa filiale Hi-media Payments, spécialisée dans le paiement électronique.
Hi-Media a ainsi indiqué avoir mandaté la banque d’investissement NIBC Bank afin « d’étudier les divers partenariats industriels et financiers possibles autour de sa plate-forme de micropaiement Allopass et de son porte-monnaie électronique Hipay », des concurrents du célèbre PayPal, appartenant à eBay.
Cette activité des paiements électroniques a permis de générer 60% du chiffres d’affaires enregistré par Hi-Media au troisième trimestre.
Le groupe médias on line chercherait donc à vendre au plus offrant son système de paiement en ligne Allopass, qui existe depuis neuf ans dans 60 pays, offre 21 moyens de paiement, enregistre plus de 8 millions de transactions par mois pour un flux mensuel de 15 millions d’euros.
Selon Tradingsat.com, le groupe Rentabiliweb, dirigé par l’excentrique Jean-Baptiste Descroix-Vernier et spécialisé dans la monétisation des audiences Internet et mobile, pourrait être intéressé par la reprise d’Allopass.
Le micro-paiement est déjà une des spécialités de Rentabiliweb, qui gère notamment la plate-forme OfferPass. Mais le groupe a aussi d’autres cordes à son arc : cash-back (Mailorama), affiliation, e-mailing, jeux (TakePass) et exploitation de sites X.

Déjà qu’ils avaient été racheté y’a 4 ans par Hi media, on peut pas dire que ce soit top comme annonce. Et qui va encore morfler ? Les clients webmasters ! ça sent clairement la valse des commerciaux et des reversements en baisse. A coté d’eux, Rentabiliweb semble plus stable (existe depuis 2002, jamais racheté), s’ils achetaient Allopass, ça serait peut être pas mal, mais franchement, j’y crois pas trop…

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
