Monoprix ouvre son site marchand
Monoprix se lance dans le commerce électronique avec une zone de livraison limitée à Paris et quelques communes de la proche couronne.
L’enseigne dispose désormais d’un nouveau magasin…virtuel cette fois-ci : Monoprix.com. Monoprix ouvre aujourd’hui son site de vente en ligne à plusieurs villes de la région parisienne (Paris, Boulogne-Billancourt, Châtillon, Clamart, Issy-les-Moulineaux, Malakoff, Montrouge, Saint-Cloud et Vanves). Le service sera étendu à toute l’Ile-de-France à la fin de l’année et à plusieurs grandes villes de province au premier trimestre 2009.
Le magasin en ligne propose un choix de 12 000 références et des délais de livraisons très courts. Si une commande est enregistrée avant 14h, elle est livrée le jour même.
Monoprix doit cela à son système de « picking » et à son réseau de magasins situés en centre-ville. Les commandes passées sur Internet arrivent dans un magasin proche du lieu de livraison spécifié par le client. Les collaborateurs parcourent alors les rayons à la recherche des produits demandés.
Les tarifs de livraison sont compris entre zéro et neuf euros. Ils varient en fonction du montant de la commande et de la fréquence des achats. Les prix des produits en ligne sont les mêmes que ceux pratiqués en magasin.
Le groupe Lafayette, propriétaire de l’enseigne, respecte donc l’échéance annoncée pour le lancement du site magasin en ligne de Monoprix. Après le site marchand des Galeries Lafayette, ouvert en avril dernier, BHV, une autre enseigne du groupe, devrait s’y mettre aussi très bientôt.
