L’éditeur de sécurité IT Kaspersky annonce l’arrivée du premier virus sur l’OS Google Android. Il s’agit plus précisément d’un cheval de Troie baptisé « Trojan-SMS.AndroidOS.FakePlayer.a ».
Ce malware s’intègre à un lecteur multimédia de 13 Ko sous le format .APK. Une fois téléchargé sur le smartphone Android, ce cheval de Troie envoie des SMS par pelletée à des numéros surtaxés à l’insu de son utilisateur.
Pour le moment la source, c’est à dire le site internet par lequel se propage ce cheval de Troie n’a toujours pas été identifiée, tout comme le nombre de smartphones Android infectés par ce malware. Kaspersky insiste sur le fait que « ce genre de malware est très répandu sur les smartphones ».
Google Android étant un OS mobile en plein ascension, il devrait de plus en plus intéresser au fil des mois les pirates et les cyber-criminels.

Un virus?
Rien a voir, cela ne se propage pas tout seul. Il faut que l’utilisateur installe l’application manuellement (et désactive la protection par défaut qui empêche d’installer des applications qui ne viennent pas du market officiel.)
Un trojan oui car l’application se fait passée pour autre chose qu’elle n’est, mais ca n’a rien à voir avec un virus.
Merci Tamise de remettre un peu les choses à leur place.
C’est vraiment difficile de trouver de l’information qui ne fait pas dans le « show » et qui sait rester neutre.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
