Sécurité IT : Kaspersky se concentre sur la prévision d’épidémies de malwares
Kaspersky Lab a déposé un brevet relatif à une technologie qui permet de prévoir l’arrivée d’épidémies de malwares, se basant sur la surveillance, la détection et l’analyse des données en temps réel.
Kaspersky affine ses outils de détection et de protection contre les malwares. L’éditeur de sécurité vient de breveter aux Etats-Unis une nouvelle technologie spéculative permettant de prévoir l’ampleur potentielle d’une épidémie de logiciels malveillants, et ainsi d’être en mesure de mieux lutter contre leur diffusion sur les ordinateurs du monde entier.
Kaspersky mise ainsi sur l’anticipation de la propagation d’un malware, et non sur sa détection a posteriori, une fois des millions de PC infectés. D’où le besoin de se référer à un « système d’alerte anticipée« .
Grâce à cette technologie, la mise en place de mesures préventives contre la propagation de malwares est désormais possible, grâce à l’analyse en temps réel des données.
« […] Elle intègre en effet un sous-système permettant de remonter à la source d’une menace, un module qui génère des mesures préventives, ainsi qu’un autre sous-système qui simule la propagation d’une épidémie », note Nadia Kashchenko, conseil en propriété industrielle de Kaspersky Lab.
Cette technologie de prévision en matière de sécurité IT a été brevetée en juin dernier par l’Office américain des brevets et marques (USPTO – United States Patent and Trademark Office).
C’est le fruit du travail des chercheurs de Kaspersky Lab Yury Mashevsky, Yury Namestnikov, Nikolay Denishchenko et Pavel Zelensky.
