Samsung, aux petits oignons pour ses smartphones, distille, peu avant le Mobile World Congress de Barcelone, qui se tiendra fin février, des informations sur le futur Galaxy S3.
A ce mystérieux terminal, qui prendra la relève de prédécesseurs écoulés comme des petits pains (leurs ventes se comptent par dizaines de millions), il incombera toutefois de soutenir le poids d’un héritage aussi contraignant qu’il s’avère flatteur.
La gamme Galaxy s’est en effet imposée comme l’alternative numéro un à l’iPhone, offrant même à Samsung, peu avant les fêtes de fin d’année 2011, la place éphémère de calife à la place du calife Apple.
Au dénommé S3 de perpétuer une tradition forgée au rythme d’une évolution, en l’occurrence celle d’Android, implémenté selon toute vraisemblance en version Ice Cream Sandwich, additionné d’une interface graphique TouchWiz 5.0.
S’il n’est nullement acté que l’assemblée du Mobile World Congress n’aura d’yeux que pour son processeur quadricoeur à 1,6 GHz, ses 32 Go de mémoire interne et ses 2 Go de RAM (un dual core à 1,2 GHz et 1 Go de RAM pour son aïeul), le nouvel ambassadeur de la série Galaxy affichera sans concession son écran HD Super AMOLED.
Et pour cause : hormis la résolution de 1280 x 720 pixels que lui prête S3 News, cette dalle de 4,6 pouces, plus économe en énergie, repose sur une technologie FOLED qui en exploite, la flexibilité, voire la malléabilité.
S’y adjoindrait un capteur photographique à 12 Mégapixels (ouverture à f/2.3), pour un lancement a priori effectif en avril, sauf contrariété, tout particulièrement concernant les panneaux tactiles, dont la production de masse se limiterait actuellement à un million d’exemplaires mensuels.
De quoi précipiter l’arrivée du prétendu iPhone 5, alors que le consensus prête au 4S un statut transitionnel ? Quoique Apple a plutôt la tête à l’iPad 3.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
