L’offre de « téléviseurs connectées » va-t-elle décoller en Europe ?
Alors que le projet Google TV s’accélère (malgré des soubresauts dans ses relations avec les groupes audiovisuels aux Etats-Unis) et celui d’Apple TV redémarre, Samsung et Yahoo étendent leur collaboration dans la télévision connectée (« smart TV« ).
Selon cet accord, Samsung va commercialiser ses téléviseurs nouvelle génération équipés du système Yahoo Connected TV (acccès aux contenus Web de Yahoo à partir du poste TV) dans 26 pays supplémentaire.
Au total, ces nouveaux appareils seront commercialisés dans 39 pays.
Yahoo espère que son système de widgets télé sera progressivement adopté par d’autres constructeurs.
Outre Samsung, le groupe Internet américain a déjà séduit Vizio, Toshiba et Sony.
C’est chaud avec les chaînes
Mais les groupes audiovisuels voient parfois d’un mauvais oeil ces relations entre groupes Internet et les fabricants de téléviseurs perçues comme une intrusion dans leur domaine de prédilection.
Ainsi, selon Gizmodo.fr, le groupe TF1, qui avait tissé fin 2009 des liens avec Samsung autour de widgets maison embarqués sur des gammes de téléviseurs, a contraint le constructeur coréen à revoir les conditions d’exploitation des widgets de Yahoo qui s’affichent sur l’écran en mode « surimpression » (par-dessus le programme).
Et ce n’est qu’un début. Selon La Tribune, de grands groupes télé français comme TF1, M6 ou Canal+ seraient en train de finaliser une « charte de comportement » commune.
Objectif : interdire aux constructeurs d’afficher des contenus tiers sur leurs images télé pour éviter tout parasitisme.

Bah en plus avec l’arrivée du HDBaseT comment ne pas y croire !! Moi je dis que c’est une mini révolution quand même. Surtout que Samsung est en train de développer avec Samsung la norme HDBaset (voir http://www.hdbaset.fr).

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
