ViewSonic joue à son tour la carte de la tablette tactile Android
IFA 2010 : Le marché des tablettes tactiles s’affole, avec l’arrivée d’un nouveau produit : la ViewPad 7 sous Android 2.2 du fabricant américain ViewSonic. Et celle-ci peut faire office de téléphone…
Le petit monde des tablettes numériques est en ébullition. Après Apple, Dell, HP, Samsung, Microsoft, Toshiba ou encore Lenovo, c’est au tour du constructeur californien ViewSonic de lever le voile sur sa tablette tactile baptisée ViewPad 7.
Présentée lors du salon IFA 2010 de Berlin, la ViewPad 7 dispose d’un écran tactile de 7 pouces offrant une résolution un peu mince de 800×480 pixels.
Propulsée par l’OS Android 2.2 Froyo, la tablette de ViewSonic embarque un processeur ARM cadencé à 600 MHz.
Dotée de connectiques 3G, Wi-Fi et Bluetooth ainsi que d’une puce A-GPS, la ViewPad 7 dispose d’un atout intéressant : il est possible d’y insérer une carte SIM, pour téléphoner ou envoyer des SMS et des MMS.
Cette tablette numérique dispose également d’un port USB et de deux capteurs : l’un sert de webcam, tandis que l’autre fait office d’appareil photo de 3 Mégapixels.
Elle intègre par ailleurs une mémoire interne de 512 Mo, qui peut être étendue grâce à l’ajout d’une carte microSD d’une capacité maximale de 32 Go.
La ViewPad 7 devrait être disponible dans le courant du mois d’octobre pour un prix inférieur à 400 euros.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
