SNCF Voyages, qui édite le portail Voyages-SNCF.com, vient de faire tomber dans son escarcelle Liligo.com, un moteur de recherche français dédié aux voyages, en prenant « une participation majoritaire au capital » de l’entreprise, annonce SNCF Voyages dans un communiqué.
Créé en 2005, Liligo.com se présente comme “le premier moteur de recherche européen spécialisé dans le voyage”.
Il référence près de 250 sites liés à l’univers du voyage, que ce soit des compagnies aériennes, des agences de voyages, des hôtels ou des tours opérateurs. Liligo est au total présent dans dix pays : la France, le Royaume-Uni, l’Allemagne, la Hongrie, l’Espagne, l’Italie, l’Autriche, la Belgique, la Roumanie et la Suisse, et revendique pas moins de 2 millions visiteurs uniques par mois.
Le portail Liligo permet de préparer en voyages en comparant, via le moteur de recherche, l’ensemble des prestations disponibles, notamment en fonction des destinations, des prix, des dates de disponibilité, etc.
Les services en ligne disponibles sur Voyages-SNCF.com devraient ainsi bientôt s’enrichir de modules liés à la comparaison de prestations liées à l’univers du voyage.
