Le marché de la téléphonie mobile reste plutôt dynamique en France. Dans son Observatoire des mobiles pour le deuxième trimestre, l’ARCEP (Autorité de Régulation des Communications Electroniques et des Postes) note que quelques 61,9 millions de lignes mobiles sont activées en France, soit une progression de 4,6% sur un an.
Au deuxième trimestre, le régulateurs télécoms français a recensé 389 500 terminaux supplémentaires entre avril et juin 2010 par rapport au trois premiers mois de l’année.
Du côté du choix du paiement des communications, la cote des cartes pré-payées tend au fil des mois à nettement reculer au profit des abonnements.
Selon l’Observatoire des mobiles, le parc pré-payé a enregistré au deuxième trimestre un recul 2,5% par rapport au trimestre précédent, soit une perte chiffrée à 446 000 clients.
En revanche, le nombre de mobiles utilisé avec un forfait a progressé de 1,9%, (+836.100 forfaits d’un trimestre à l’autre), et de 8,9% sur une année. Au total, le parc post-payé s’élève à plus de 44 millions d’abonnés, contre 17,7 millions pour le parc pré-payé.
